Since November 1st 2023, Dr Pierron is now full-time R&D Director at MatchID, Ghent, Belgium, while enjoying invited professor status at the universities of Southampton and Ghent.

Prof. Pierron has been appointed Guest Professor at the Department of Electromechanical, Systems and Metal Engineering at the University of Ghent, Belgium, starting 1st January 2023.
